First Nice Saturday of the Year
It was really nice out the other weekend, so we took Madeline to the park. Here are a few pictures. (This also marks the first day Kelly put the kiddo's hair in pigtails.)

What a cutie! With her pigtails up she reminded me of Pipi Longstockings...adorable.
Although we declined to find out whether we were having a boy or a girl, we still wanted to call the baby something while Kelly was pregnant. So, uh, why Iggy? After our first sonogram, we watched The Year Without a Santa Claus. You know, the Rankin/Bass special with the Heat Miser and the Snow Miser, where Santa threatens to cancel Christmas unless his elves can find someone that still believes in the true nature of the holiday. That someone is a kid named Ignatius Thistlewhite. Iggy for short. It's got a good ring to it, but not quite as good as Madeline.
And As For Rocksohard?
While engaged, Robert floated the idea that instead of Kelly taking his name, they could come up with an entirely new one. Something catchy. All their own. And extra awesome. The Rocksohards. As in, "Hey, let's see what the Rocksohards are up to." Moral of the story: Be careful what you tell your friends. Because some of them call us that now. Theoretically, without irony. Or so we tell ourselves.

Yay for a new post! Look how much she's grown even from the last time you posted in November! Ahh! She is so stinkin' cute I can't stand it!

Oh, the first day in pigtails! Def. worth the pictures. Won't this summer be fun w/ her running around more and doing playground things? Have fun!
